[attr="class","likedoinfo"]If you'd like to challenge the gym, please send a PM to Lillian Faye - or bug Hestia through the cbox and/or skype.
The gym is opened from Monday through Saturday and is closed on Sundays. The attached café is open everyday. The gym is open from 8am to 5pm while the café is open from 9am to 5pm. However, challengers are never declined as long as you can find someone who knows where Lillian is when you arrive.

[attr="class","likedoinfo"]Shortly after Valerie stepped down as the leader of Laverre City, the pokemon gym went through a rather large renovation. While the main part of the gym is largely the same, a café has been added in the back of the gym. Those wishing to have a quick bite to eat or maybe drink a small cup of coffee or tea are able to enter through the back entrance.
Those who enter through the main entrance will find come across a young man accompanied by a Floette, who will then say to them:
"Welcome to the Laverre City Gym! Are you here to challenge Lillian?"
Those who say no will be led to the café entrance located in the back of the room. Those who confirm that they are challenging the new leader will be given further instructions on how to reach the room where she's lying in wait for challengers.

★ Unless one was originally from Laverre City, first-timers must use the front entrance in order to meet the league official. League trainers will be given instructions for navigating the gym while those who are not challenging the gym will be led to the café by Blossom, the Floette.
★ You may not have any pokemon outside of their balls while navigating the gym. Those who are entering the café may be allowed to have one small pokemon outside of their ball. Large pokemon are only permitted in the back patio.
★ You may not damage the building in any manner unless it is through challenging the gym trainers.
★ Outside of the café and back pation, all furniture is only to be used by the leader, league official, and gym trainers. An exception is made if you want to heal your pokemon between gym trainers.
★ If death or injury occurs, all battles will be stopped and the building will be evacuated. Trainers and café patrons will be compensated in the event that death or injury occurs within the building.

The current gym leader is Lillian Faye – an architect and interior designer. She is the one who is responsible for the renovations recently done to the Laverre City Gym. She is also known to have designed inns, boutiques, cafés (aside from the gym café), and restaurants. If she's not in the gym, one can usually find her in her home office working on her next project. When she is not at the gym, or in her office, it is likely that Lillian is visiting her sick father. In that event, she is likely to be in a bad mood and should not be approached if she is not accompanied by Puck (her Sylveon).
Challengers will receive the Lavish Badge to victors, as well as people who have proven themselves worthy of receiving it through other means. This badge is made of a light metal and is a rosy pink color; it is in the shape of a pair of fairy wings.
In addition to the badge and prize money, victors will also receive a TM that contains the move Dazzling Gleam.
Lillian's current team consists of Sylveon, Floette, Altaria, Granbull, Kirlia, and Spritzee. Those who frequent the area will have seen Floette guiding visitors and Altaria (who is never used in official gym battles) patrolling the city limits.

Aside from the reception room – where the trainer enters – and the room where the leader lies in wait, there are seven furnished rooms in the Laverre City Gym. Each room is equipped with 2 or more warp panels. These warp panels are used to navigate through the gym.
A trainer's goal is to use these warp panels in order to find the leader's room. It is best that they do this without triggering any traps that the leader has decided to set in place. These traps are triggered by stepping on fake warp panels.
In order for a trainer to escape these traps, a gym trainer that had been previously hiding within the same room will issue a challenge that must be answered. These challenges will vary – some may ask you a simple question and some may ask you to solve a puzzle. The gym leader has given gym trainers complete authority over what these challenges can be as long as they do not involve battle or anything else that may cause serious injuries.
Those who succeed in finding a safe route to the leader's room will come across three battle-ready gym trainers who must be defeated in order to continue exploring the gym. All gym trainers must be faced in one session. Those who leave the building must start the whole challenge over again. Panel destinations will not be changed, however, so trainers can easily navigate back to where they had left off.

★ All battles leading up to the gym leader will be 3 vs. 3 or 4 vs. 4 single battles. Upon reaching the gym leader, the challenger can choose between a 3 vs. 3 single battle, a 4 vs. 4 double battle, and a 4 vs. 4 single battle.
★ The challenger is allowed to freely switch out his or her pokemon while the gym trainers as well as the gym leader are all prohibited from doing so.
★ The pokemon that normally face beginning trainers are known to be the "weaker" members of the leader's team. While not recommended, it is possible for trainers to request that Lillian uses her Sylveon – which also happens to be her starter – for their gym battle.
★ While any damages – barring any death or serious injury – caused by attacks will normally be pardoned, as they are usually just caught in the crossfire, there will be legal action taken against trainers who purposefully target property fixtures during battle.
★ On occasion, Lillian's Altaria will fly into her room during the midst of battle. Trainers, who have yet to earn the Laverre City Gym Badge, are prohibited from attacking this Altaria.

In order to obtain a badge after battling Lillian, one of two conditions must be fulfilled.
The first of these conditions is to learn a certain lesson based on her observations of the challenges and trainer battles that opposing league trainers may have come across while navigating the gym. As these lessons are catered specifically to each trainer, there's no real advice that can be given. However, the usual "lesson" that Lillian desires to teach challengers is that brute strength is not the answer to everything.
The second condition that may be fulfilled is to actually defeat Lillian in battle.
(Those who fail to meet either condition must wait at least one week before challenging the gym once more.)
