- Pokedex: Utilized by all Researcher-class characters and certain blessed others, a Pokedex is a high-tech device that contains an encyclopedia of information about Pokemon species. Besides being an effective information store, it can also analyze a Pokemon to inform you of its abilities, moves and other details. Through the Internet, the Dex is constantly being updated with information not just about Pokemon, but Trainers and breaking news! It's quite a technological marvel.
- Holo-Caster: Essentially an advanced cell phone, it has the capability of projecting a hologram of the person you want to speak to. Originally an invention of the now-disbanded Team Flare, it also has GPS capabilities and internet access with a floating touch screen. And given its handiness, it's honestly rather cheap, especially the older models. The flame-shaped insignia on the outside still gives the feds the heebie-jeebies, though.
- Technical Machines: In olden times, these were scrolls! Nowadays there are modern miniature compilation disks that can demonstrate to a Pokemon how to use a specific type of move through a digital movie demonstrating the use step by step, both the command that has to be given by the Trainer and the skills that have to be used by the Pokemon partner. You'd think they'd be mass-produced, but there's a company with a monopoly on the disks that sells them for a sky-high price, making them a rarity often awarded for defeating specific Trainers. The mini-disks can be played on any sort of cell device or computer.
CAPTURE DEVICES
- Poke Ball: sold for 200 PG. The most basic form of a capture device, it's cheap, recyclable and breaks after a failed use. While it's a little shoddy at doing its job on anything stronger than a young, unevolved Pokemon, its cheapness makes it the standard to use in the field. The digital environment inside is a basic, comfortable home in a meadow-like environment that suits most outdoor-dwelling Pokemon.
- Great Ball: Sold for 600 PG. An upgrade to the Poke Ball, it's heavier and more durable at the cost of being thrice as expensive. Suited for most Pokemon, it's a solid choice for capturing pretty much any Pokemon that hasn't evolved yet, and even some that have! The forest environment inside is well-suited for even larger Pokemon, being quite expansive and big enough to swing around large tails and horns.
- Ultra Ball: Sold for 1800 PG. The best of the standard Poke Balls, it's really quite the marvel. Hardy and known not to break for Pokemon even at their final evolutionary stage, it's a solid choice for those chasing more difficult Pokemon to raise. The cavernous environment suits plenty of large-bodied Pokemon, and even supplies an artificial lake and subterranean plants.
- Heal Ball: Sold for 2000 PG. A non-standard Poke Ball that fully heals the Pokemon it captures and neutralizes any negative statuses it may have. It's fragile and only about as effective as a basic Poke Ball at actual capture, but the comfy and warm herbal garden internal environment allows for speedy natural healing after a Pokemon is withdrawn from battle.
- Luxury Ball: Sold for 3000 PG. A non-standard Poke Ball with an exceedingly posh mansion environment in its digital interior, perfect for any Pokemon you plan to name "Fluffy" or "Mr. Tibbs". While it's extremely fragile and ineffective at capturing stubborn Pokemon, a Pokemon that's already gained some friendship might never want to leave! It helps raise the rate of bonding between Trainer and Pokemon, quickly purifying Shadow Pokemon and allowing friendship to bloom far more swiftly.
- Quick Ball: Sold for 1000 PG. A non-standard Poke Ball, it works well on Pokemon that are caught off-guard, and is meant to be thrown with no battle ensuing beforehand- good for catching that speed demon that keeps running away. The metallic environment inside contains a treadmill, a swimming pool, and other details that help a Pokemon keep its strength up.
- Timer Ball: Sold for 1000 PG. A non-standard Poke Ball, it's the opposite of a Quick Ball and works extra well on those iron-wall types that fight for hours on end. If every ball in the book has broken to a Pokemon, this might be just the one to toss next. The pretty oasis environment brings an hourglass to mind, and provides a place for a strong Pokemon to lay back and sleep.
- Dive Ball: Sold for 500 PG. A non-standard Poke Ball, it's what you need for any undersea excursion! Required to capture aquatic Pokemon such as Horsea, Sharpedo or Lapras, it creates a large "bubble" of water for such Pokemon to control travel in outside of their Poke Ball when no other water is available. The interior is a lovely coral reef or lakeside environment that suits the needs of the Pokemon it captures.
- Dusk Ball: Sold for 500 PG. A non-standard Poke Ball, it's what you should bring for nighttime journeys or tunnel explorations. Easily catching nocturnal or exclusively cave-dwelling Pokemon such as Zubat, Sableye or Carbink, the moonlit, mossy grotto within suits any Pokemon that prefers the allure of stalking the night.
- Safari Ball: Free. Provided to Trainers upon paying for a Safari Zone excursion, they are relatively similar to standard capsules and are meant to be hospitable homes for rare Pokemon. Containing an open savanna environment with acacia trees and a watering hole, they're the region's standard for any Pokemon that are caught as wild game.
- Capture Styler: Utilized by Ranger characters and some police. Created by technicians in the Almia region, they allow for "temporary" capture of a Pokemon that only partially bonds it to a human. The connection can be instantly undone at either the Ranger or Pokemon's will, and relies on a mutual goal. After a specific objective is completed, the captured Pokemon is usually released back into the environment.
MEDICINE
- Potion: Sold for 300 PG. A basic medicine for Pokemon. Spray-on epithelial cells that heal basic wounds such as minor cuts and antihistamines that reduce pain and swelling, they're good for helping a Pokemon recuperate after battle or a minor accident. While it's good for physical wounds, it does nothing for poison or other below-the-skin conditions.
- Super Potion: Sold for 500 PG. A more expensive but more effective Pokemon medicine that also has an antiseptic effect. The larger bottle holds a larger amount of spray cells, allowing for multiple uses and a much greater effect when used all at once. Better for larger, stronger Pokemon that a Potion may be able to only partially heal.
- Hyper Potion: Sold for 1200 PG. This large bottle of spray medicine could cover a Donphan, and is effective at immediately healing even full-body burns and deep cuts. On smaller Pokemon, you could get up to five or six uses out of this thing. It's just the thing for a very large pal who has taken a beating in the middle of battle.
- Max Potion: Sold for 2000 PG. Expensive, but vital for emergency kits. Along with the same healing spray as a Hyper Potion, it also comes with a vial of Sitrus preserves for a Pokemon or human to drink in order to heal internal damage and has the power to seal even a wound that could threaten someone's life. Fully heals a Pokemon regardless of size or the seriousness of its wounds.
- Antidote: Sold for 100 PG. A small vial of amber liquid that contains crushed Pecha Berry juice and antibiotics, it disinfects wounds when poured on the skin and combats illness and the effect of natural poisons when ingested. Effective at curing any Poison-related conditions, even severe ones.
- Parlyz Heal: Sold for 200 PG. A muscle relaxant applied to the skin that dispels tension caused by certain Electric-type moves as well as some physical contact attacks, it can heal flinching and Paralysis-related statuses.
- Burn Heal: Sold for 500 PG. A spray-bottle filled with aloe and with a bag of bandages attached, it can help with even severe burn injuries caused by Fire-type foes.
- Awakening: Sold for 500 PG. A cold patch to be applied to skin, it secretes a brain stimulant that can awaken Pokemon from even the deepest trance caused by hypnosis or sedative-based attacks.
- Ice Heal: Sold for 500 PG. A liquid that becomes warm when shaken, it immediately restores feeling to skin it's applied to, warming it and preserving a warm sensation for many minutes afterwards. It defrosts Pokemon who have hit by even the strongest Ice-type moves.
- Revival Herb: Sold for 900 PG. Awfully bitter-tasting, it can revive a fainted or exhausted Pokemon with some health when fed to it. Most Pokemon despise its taste and scent and avoid it like the plague even in the wild, but it's effective at doing what it does. It's toxic in high quantities, explaining the aversion.

BERRIES
- Oran Berry: A popular Pokemon treat and pastry ingredient, found in various trees across Kalos and most backyard gardens. Restores a little health to Pokemon that eat it.
- Pecha Berry: Found on trees in Central Kalos. Popular flavoring for candy, it's a very sweet fruit with an effective anti-venom compound in its peel. When eaten, heals poison-based status conditions.

- Persim Berry: Found on bushes in Coastal Kalos. Used in certain stress-relieving medicines, its bittersweet and hard flesh soothes those who chew on it and cures Pokemon of the Confusion status condition.
- Chesto Berry: Found on tall trees in Coastal Kalos. Having an extremely hard outer shell, the inner fruit is intensely sour and prevents drowsiness for a while after eating it. Do not eat before bed, the effects are quite strong even on people.
- Rawst Berry: Occurring commonly in Coastal Kalos, this berry's aloe-like flesh is extremely effective at combating the pain from a burn or other flesh wound when applied as a paste, causing a cool sensation. It's intensely bitter and just sort of... green-tasting when eaten, though.
- Aspear Berry: These trees grow in the snowy regions of Mountain Kalos. Having a center that almost seems to radiate warmth, eating it raises the body's core temperature and helps to fight off frostbite and cold shocks. It makes up the filling in Snowbelle Tarts, a popular dessert.
- Sitrus Berry: Rarely growing on trees in Mountain Kalos, these fruits cause a huge energy spike in any Pokemon that eats them, restoring a large amount of health. Oddly enough, they taste repulsively sour to most humans and are used as a garnish sparingly at best.
